Have been looking for a new mounting block but all seemed so expensive. (50, 60,,70 quid) Went to the camping and caravan store and found a brilliant light weight metal ,two step, non slip ,wide base set of steps for £19.99 ! Brilliant.

lol we have one of those for getting our aging and arthritic pooch in and out of the car!
Went for a water carrier and came away with a stool for the pooch!

I am universally considered pathetic/non-sporty/fat old bag (umm, all of which true) here because I prefer not to mount from the ground but I can always find a little something to mount from: a log, a verge, a bump in the ground. The French just don't get it ......

They dont seem to 'get' back problems either if your difficulty in getting a local back specilaist is anything to go by And they dont seem to get "Please do not use my swimming pool either!!!!" But thats a different subject totally!!!
