I desperately need some good decent quality light gloves for riding that will last, my fav gloves are fleece lined so far to warm now for the summer and my current light ones are falling to pieces. i really want to buy some decent quality ones but not sure which to buy, any recommendations? Thanks annax ;D

Mark todd ones!! I have had mine since i left bb college in 2008, they have been battered and went up snowdon with me and they are still going strong ( despite sunshines attempts) really good quality, literally love them! I'm not obsessive but I also have a mark todd numnah and jacket and various other stuff .

i have a pair of shires ones that are quite light and havent ripped yet - cant remember when i got them - they are sort of fabricy/suede - i dunno which type they are. you can get cheapie thin ones but they dont last that long but sure they are cheap so hey ho! like so... www.countrysupplies.com/item.asp?i=800

I am another Mark Todd addict but the best gloves I've had are the Roeckl ones. They have lasted me a year now and are cool in summer but warm enough for most of the winter weather. They also grip well in heavy rain. ETA here is the link www.colemancroft.com/Details.cfm?ProdID=540

roeckl chester gloves are lovely and good enough to compete in as well but at £20 pound a pair not the cheapest but I think worth it, not to expensive.

I loved my MacWets, so lovely to ride in but dont last that long for the price, so couldnt really recommend them. Best feel though of any Ive used. Im using good hands leather ones now and they are quite good. Dye leaks a bit though when sweaty- yuck!
