I went back to the fields where I got tanked off with. Had a nice steady uphill canter and a good blast of a gallop. Those boys can run. It was good to go back to lay a ghost. I felt very calm and confident. Not sure where all my courage came from but long may it last.

It's just great to have a good blast isn't it. We had a couple on Sunday but had to keep stopping as Huffy and Cleo were bucking and tanking off. Think I'll go out tonight and blow away the cobwebs.

I can tell you where your confidence is coming from Sol, it is coming from you and Pete, because you have taken the time to build a solid bond with your horse and all this spending time riding out with just you and he, is I believe, the absolutely best way of building such a bond.
Don't get me wrong in that it does take time, like any true relationship and of course it is a constant and continuous journey. I think you have done so well and you are an inspiration to us all.
