Race something, it is very comfy. Any thoughts on second hand safety wear, will it be better than nothing or have I just wasted £30!

Its probably a racesafe one. I think second hand BPs arent as much of a safety issue as hats cos they are just foam really i suppose. As BD says it depends how battered it is and whether the velcro, elastic, stitching etc is in good nick. Id say it would be fine - make sure its the purple lable - BETA level 3. Thats a good bargain for a racesafe!
