Well, i would go anyway ;D it will be a good experience and you can just potter round and 'pick a fence' You dont have to do any of the jumps, H can take Chompy and give Brave a lead if you get into difficulties and it will be good fun with the company.
Plus i am sure there will be lots of other people bringing out their young horses etc.
ps, i think thats really good that you can do the smaller heights if you are older than 12! over here there is not so much of that - mostly events start at 2'3 and the 45cm courses are reserved for the under 12s. there arent too many events that will have a 45cm course open to all ages unfortunately.
pps. i am such a hypocrite as i am one of those people that overthink and worry too much and would probs chicken out. but then again, looking at how i am getting on recently, perhaps i am getting better ;D

Fi definately do it. They do look like nice jumps. Just go for the experience - that was my aim last week and despite that we were only jumping the 1 ft 6 jumps it was such a great experience for both of us. If you can pick your height you can start off with the smaller ones to build Braves confidence then pop some of the bigger more inviting ones if you feel like it. Seems like a great starter course to me.
