Anyone ever heard of these/used them? Its a turnout rug. Our country store has them on offer and I'm very tempted but I've been stung with cheapo rugs before that have been as good as a chocolate tea pot!

I have had one and was very disappointed. Had a high neck medium weight which didn't last very long, and I thought was cheaply made and not a great fit. Quite a few people I know use them and most aren't overly impressed.
Sorry but I wouldn't recommend them. I have also tried the Robinsons Requisit rugs in the past and found that these were a strange fit too.
I would rather trawl the internet for a weatherbeeta.

Thanks Jane, will avoid. It's just false economy which was my concern. Re requisite, I also agree, I have a half neck mediumweight but it is really tight on the shoulders - I have to use a vest with it to stop it rubbing. Weatherbeetas are fab. I have an ancient Stormcheeta which was Sancys first 'adult' rug. Its the old style, not canvas but not like the new material. I've had it re-proofed once in about 8 years and it NEVER leaks, its a lovely fit and never rubs.

You can sometimes get bargain WB's on ebay, I don't think they are bad on price anyhow not when compared to horseware etc.
They are great quality and I have never had one that didn't fit regardless of what you put it on so i am quite surprised to see a comment about them not fitting well. Mine live in them most of the winter 24/7 unless it's really cold at night when the Winterbusters come out!

lol yes Jack never had one that big to try! I would imagine getting anything that is not only big but also deep enough is quite a challange.
