as you may or may not know i am entering the munchkin monster in a veteran class. what do i do and what do i wear, i know bloss needs to be au naturel and clean but not sure what i need to do and whether i need a stock or a tie, im assuming my blue tweed and cream jods with long boots will be ok for a local show? ? am i allowed to wear spurs though? she goes better with spurs than without and also hich bit, the snaffle where brakes may be slightly iffy or the 3 ring snaffle which garuntees all control? thank you guys, i know you will hwlp me!!!!!

Burniston show right?? editorial.yrnweb.co.uk/g/?id=burnistonshow07Have a look here that might give you some ideas. You will probably have to check with your judge re spurs, do you use your gag with two reins or one?? If you need a tack donkey i'll help (can't compete she's far too daft and i can't see that improving anytime soon)

a tie with you tweed jacket should be fine and spurs generally accepted and do finish off the picture.
as for the bit does she go in a pelham with 2 reins as this does look really smart or probably a hanging cheek snaffle for a few more brakes, unless you are doing working hunter they don't usually like bubble bits.

Yeah, a pelham is a good idea! I think it depends how old you are whether you are allowed to wear spurs - i know that juniors arent allowed too. But im not certain of the dividing age.
If its a local, just wear whatever you have - tweed will look nice if shes going natural.
I havent seen a veteran class but i assume its the same format as a regular riding class - walk, trot, canter as a group and then individual show usually.
I would go for the bit you have most control in because its no fun getting took off with and plus you will have a better chance of getting placed if you are in control lol!!

In showing classes, the dress should be green tweed jacet, cream shirt, corn jods, and a jazzy tie to make you stand out..(dont forget the tie pin) should be brows boots in showing with brow gloves and cane ....good luck!
