Anyone tried the airbourn humane girth? I wanna find one thats super comfy for Fire but he doesn't get on well with the elasticed ones or the synthetic ones. They make him sweaty even on a cold day. I'm usin a norm girth on him atm but if there is somethin better then I'd give that a go.

The ones that are completely neoprene seem to be the best I find- they dont rub (Basil is super sensitive) they are reasonably cheap and v easy to clean (quick sponge)

I have a 'waffle style' humane girth but not sure if I like it or not. The material is great it's the humane bit I don't get, it's suppose to even up the pressure I believe but I'm not totally convinced hence I stopped using it! I also dislike any elastic on my girths as I feel it causes pressure and often over tightening.
Like Brig I favour neoprene girths and use torsion ones (the £18 neoprene not mega bucks leather) on my boys although they only do dressage girths due to the nature of the straps on treeless saddles. They hose down well, dry quick and are very comfy/kind on the horse and often slightly wider than synthetic girths.

Faith hates "humane" girths as they nip and aren't as humane as they claim...plus they are actually really hard to fasten up!

I have the albion ultima girth which is basically a posh leather humane girth. I use it with my wow saddle as trying to find a non elasticates dressage girth is very difficult and this is the only one I could find. An air filled saddle and an elasticaterd girth is like riding a space hopper!
The girth on the other hand is supurb, but maybe my poit of view differs as the albion girth cost 5 times what an aerborn one would! The leather is buttery soft and supple so it does up very easily, doesn't pinch as the straps lay over the base of the girth and it is shaped behind the shoulders, but you need to be careful not to over fasten it.

What about a proper leather girth although i think they make them even sweatier than a cotton one....then it would be a bit slippy maybe if he spooks!
Kieran just has an aerborn cotton one.
