Did some jumping with Fire on Sun and he was a superstar. We started off with an excericse on an oval with 2 teeny tiny jumps along side the long sides to practice our turns. which we did in walk trot and canter. We then strung together a little course, which Fire was loving! OH reckoned that Fire was jumping so well that we could put the jump up to 2' 6" Which we did Firest coupla times he rattled it slightly but the third time he come round the corner with such tigerness and cleared it lovely. We popped it up to 3ft which he jumped even nicer but oh was having a poor day with the camera and he missed it. He reckoned he'd get it right third time but I said that Fire had jumped lovely and really done his bit so we'd call that a day. meadly of pics to late..., To early... rattlin... Just right, although a lil blurry, my camera is on the fritz after about 15000 photos its feelin tierd. Advice welcome,,I've been tryin hard not to grip with my calves and sink my weight into my heels instead which I thinks been helpin.

Thank you *touchwood* I've been pleased with how he has been going. Its just over a year since he bucked me off, and gave me mild concussion. if you told me then that I'd even wanna jump again I'd prob of looked at you sideways...let alone actually doing it and enjoying it.

he just loves his jumping!!
the lower leg is so much better without the grip - just try not to turn the toe out - think of having the little toe pointing forward- where your leg is in pic 2 is good so aim for that- use the inside of the leg rather the back of the calf but its looking really good.
