hello! Just joined and after deciding on my avi and a pretty siggy I have finally made my first post!  well... I have not been riding long own two beauties. Both Tb horses off the track. king is 19 and Mo is 9 (OTT for about two years now?). I have schooled and educated them myself and im quite proud of them ^_^ we are jumpers and currently doing about 1.10m courses and on the odd occasion we will go a bit higher just to test ourselves buttt... i am a hopeless rider, my babies are just so tollerent of me and just lugg me around the course despite my lack of talent LOL here is King (King Buddha):  a little too over releasing but It got us a nice bascule... heh and this is Mo (or Mi MoJo):  we got reserve champion at a hack show.... mo doesnt like hack shows as you can probably see LOL and in a few days i will be off to compete at the showjumping state champs so im all excited. so yeh.. nice long post for you all ;D |

How long have you been riding? It looks like you've done a good job with your babies - I don't think I'd be brave enough to take on ex racers!

hah lol all you guys seem so nice and sorry, im guarding Mo with my life! hah my horsey friends have already tried to steal him haha and yeh.. live long and prosper, dad is Trek nut and it kinda rubs off on me  aannndd.. been riding for abour five years now, this year being my 5th ^_^ I was lucky with Mo, he is very quiet... and well even though king is 19 he is a nice lil hot head but of course i wouldnt have it anyother way come quite far with that boy, used to refuse 50cm jumps now look at him! lol look forward to chatting and stuff..... ohh and i found you on google, typing in "horse forum", I wanted horsey people to chat with and get advise from etc... |

haha thank you ;D I really dont think I have much talent.. im just really really lucky to have such wonderful horses (well.. king is a challege but he has tought me so much more about working hard and we have become such close friends now ) and my coaches are all awesome too. I think my main draw back with my riding is that all i can do is jumping (and i go really slow sometimes!). haha i tried dressage.. didnt work. i do okay in hack showing but thats easy i guess... so yeh, im currently loving this forum its great |
