hi all need your help Millie has been doing really well infact blooming spot on the thing is i am having my first lesson on her at the school i AM LEARNING AT ON WED NIGHT AND SHE HAS STARTED TO PLAY UP I HAVE JUST CHANGED HER BRIDLE TO ONE WITH A FLASH BAND WHAT EVER ITS CALLED HER OLD ONE WAS A SYNTHETIC AND SHE WAS GREAT ON IT BUT ITS BROWN AND HER SADDLE IS BLACK IT IS ALSO NOT A FLASH BAND THINGY WOULD THE FACT THAT HER GOB IS CLOSED MAKE A DIFFERENCE

I THINK IT IS BUT PLEASE HELP

why do you have a flash on her? they are awful things which have a a fairly severe effect on the horses face and pressure the nerve endings.

As with anyhting if you A: dont know what its called and B: dont know how it works then dont use it! take the flash attachment off and just use as cavesson noseband. please!!!

hi all update took milllie on my lesson on wed night the first time i am now learning on her we hacked for 30 mins to the school as its close 45 min lesson and then hacked back and she was a wee star worked better than any of the schooled horses and got more compliments we did walk trot and canter on both reigns 20m circles and work with no stirrups and standing work she was so good i was so happy went on her this afternoon meant to be working but had to go for a wee play on my lunch and again she was so good so she got a cuddle half packet of polos and a big kiss i love her so much and i love horse riding its like flying without wings ;D
