start by checking your area for dressage comps. the first level is prelim which would be a great place to start. when you look at the entry form choose which test you want to do and then for a fee they will send them to you or buy a file of the tests from BD or online. to start with can I suggest you look at www.interdressage.co.ukall the fun of competition without the travelling!!

try googling interdressage and you should get it. basically it is doing a dressage test at home with someone recording it and you send it in to be judged.

There are also intro BD tests, which are walk and trot tests, they were invented last year??? or the year before but ive never done one. Ive had my pony since before she could even canter, and i threw her in at prelim before moving up to novice level.
Maxi, is your avatar an elephant jumping on a trampoline???

There have always been walk and trot tests lol just BD decided to make them an official test this year. Best thing to do is to find your local RC and see what comps they are running. Remember dressage is just the posh name for schooling, we all do it everyday you just have to follow the set routine in a test instead of doing what you feel like. All tests are available on www.dressagediagrams.org, just register (which is free) and then click buy tests in the left hand menu. You can also buy them from your local riding club. Good luck
