anyone else in the midst of them?!!?! maths tomorrow...i hate maths. i mean, what is the point?! i think we should only take gcses that are relevant to us for later life..
eg
horse studies!! how-to-flirt-on-the-dance-floor studies..
something that is actually useful...
anyway... anyone else on here doing them atm? xx

You should be allowed to have a ball until you feel like learning - which does happen, honest! (Don't quite know how that plan would be funded ....) I keep going back to 'school' as it's brilliant to learn new things - Maxie, I think you're a returner too, aren't you? And yes, school may be tough ... but the 'real' world is a brutal place !

I failed my A levels (O and 2 Fs - I think they were trying to tell me something ) Then, when I'd had enough of deadend jobs, I did my maths A level by correspondence course in 6 months and got in to Uni as a mature student. I think I had much more fun as I was doing a course I knew I wanted to do and had learnt to balance work and fun.

Gcse's?!?!? I'd do all 13 of mine again instead of my 3 A-levels! GCSE's are soooooo easy in comparison! Honestly, you'll realise just how easy they were when/if you start A-levels (and all 3 sciences at that...ouch!)
