Rite so i tacked loui up today and stood at the door talking to the blacksmith for a while when i noticed outa the corner of my eye that loui was doing something really really strange! her eyes looked like she had been doped up and she was falling onto her hind quarters, her front legs stretched! i had to run into the stable and wake her up!
does anyone kno or have any idea what this could b im getting really worried! im going to try and get a vid of her doing it so that i can show ppl as they dnt believe me!!

Could she just have been stretching? Savs does this sometimes when i get on her
If not then i would have a word with your vet and see what they say

nah her eyes looked like she had been doped up! it wasnt a strech!

Have you thought of narcolepsy?
Is this the first time she's done it?
I'm with Dottaroo, maybe have a chat to your vet about it.

Think you should get the vet to check her out- probably nothing but worth having her heart checked. May seem a funny question but was her head and neck straight?

ummmm. yeah it was!! im going bk up tonight to feed the foal so im going to put saddle on and c if she does it then try and get a vid or something

hiya fimacg. No wasnt the limanitic stance she was about to fall over if i hadnt of "woke her up" im going to get the vet out on monday i think but i just hope it isnt anything serious!!!!
