and a chicken is a bird and not an animal
But surely they come under the main catagory of animals? and they are in thier own sub catagory

yep even humans are animals there are sub category's e.g a chicken is a raptor (birds) , mammals horses, dogs etc, reptiles Snake and aquatics fish think there are more but i want bore you with them
