I went to the Yorkshire Game Fair at the weekend and I have never seen so many gundogs, terriers and russels in my life I used to hate them (sorry but I did ) but I now have a major liking for them! I want to know what breed you have and a pic to go with it! I also want to know if you take them to the horses with you etc! Off you go!!!

We have a Patterdale Terrier. She has hip dyspalcia (sp) and a serious back problem so can never go on proper walks on concrete/tarmac (don't bother her now she's 16 lol) but she used to come up to the field every day with my mum for a walk on the grass and to irritate Alfie Or Savs (used to steal their hay bit by bit This is Pudding (rescue dog and used to her name when she got to us (look a right nana running down the street shouting "Pudding Pudding come back!!))

I have a Pointsetter ie a Red Setter/Pointer cross. SHe is lovely, very energetic and has pronounced hunting skills. She comes everywhere with me and the horses and is happiest when I take one of the horses in to a stubble field (which is enormous)- she runs around madly and dashes up to me every so often, grinning from ear to ear. SHe jumps up to kiss my horses when I dismount. She loves jumping into the jeep and heading off anywhere. Sorry I've forgotten my photobucket password so I can't put in a photo

No 'horsey' dogs for me - I have two rescues: a boxer and a hunting dog x. Both mad as a box of frogs. But one of my old boxers used to come with the horses, despite his short nose he could still follow a rando over the mountains. My mate tried it with her Lab - but we lost him to the first picnic he saw ........

No doggies for me. Would love one but we're just not at home enough. Plus my puddies would leave home! I do have an adopted yard dog though - his neames Ozzy and he's a black German Shephard. Ex-police dog and totally bonkers! He belongs to YO and I look after him when she goes away. He's scared of the horses though!
