Well, funny enough sheep woke me up!! All you could hear was one lonely sheep going meh...meh...meh. Its worse when the farmers bring she sheep lorry round and start unloading them in the field beside your house and all you can hear is 'hup, hup!' and lots of clanging and then all the sheep bahing and they do that ALL NIGHT.
I was talking to a girl who lives on a farm and talking about the damn tractors and she said well sure take the horse out between 1am and 3am cos thats when the farmers go to bed!

The joys of country life. I had a demented magpie waking me up at about 4.30 am recently. It was banging at the window in the room beside me for hours on end. I covered up the window thinking he was seeing his reflection and fighting/courting it but it made no difference. He is getting a bit better now, only did it once or twice this morning. He is really loud.

We have baby starlings nesting under our gutter - right outside the bedroom window. And clearly 4.30 am is feeding time! And if that doesn't wake me up my cat has taken to coming in at 5.30 demanding grub!

*under the patio brookside styley of course* Flippin dog insists on getting up at 6 every day. Fair enough on weekdays but she dosen't grasp lie in's at weekends but you can guarantee by about half eight when she's walked and fed she is curled back up on settee for the day
