Anyone been?
we were going to go to Denmark one but the boys passport took so long we have missed the cheap airfares and its going to be 288 quid per person!! so we have booked nice hotel and flights from Glasgow to Heathrow for less than half the cost of the Denmark trip ;D - lets face it to a 5 year old so long as he gets a shot in a plane and gets to a Legoland he dont care what one it is!
so any hints tips or warnings gratefully received.

We went and it was awesome! It rained aaaaaaaaaaaall day but that made it more fun as there were less people to have to queue behind...we actually went on a pirate ride 5 times in the space of about an hour, even though the queue signs said it would take about 1 1/2 from then end of the queue (but there were no people to queue with so we just ran straight on - it was ace!!!). My tip would be get there early if its a nice day as there will be lots of people there AND buy ice creams (just 'cos they're yummy ). Hope you all hace fun

Never have been there but I've heard the girls at work saying to bring their kids there rather than Disney in Paris as its cheaper and just as much fun. I loved lego as a child but my mother used to ban it from the house! (Mind you I suppose Legoland is more than loads of lego houses!) Your little boy will love it- have a great trip

I took my kids there when they were little and they loved it - actually, we ALL did! We were given a tip that served us very well: get there early, just before opening time. (You will need every minute to enjoy it!) Then, when the doors open, don't be tempted to linger at the Lego models that are just inside the gates - you can see them later - but race to the first ride you fancy - we went to the furthest away and worked back, and therefore avoided a lot of queuing. Also, eat lunch either late or early - a lot of people hit the restaurants (we had a good but somewhat costly meal) so there are fewer queues. Some of the ride won't be available for your littl'un as there are some height restrictions, but there will be enough to keep him happy. Oh, and don't wear anything that you mind getting wet! You'll have a lovely time! Hope the weather is kind for you.

Maxi I have some 2 for 1 entry vouchers for legoland (can be used for adults and kids) if you want one - so long as it's not in August as I think they're not valid then. If you want one PM me your address and I'll pop it off to you.
