I LOVE THEM! Have started riding Kieran with a poly pad instead of a regular numnah and it actually makes the saddle more comfy and it even makes me feel more secure. Doesnt seem to slip either Ive got the same one as the pic at the bottom - best buy ever. I think solomon was looking numnah advice - i would now advise getting one of these even though they are quite dear. www.polypads.co.uk/classic.htm

Thanks flea, i am still looking, am getting saddler out again on friday 'cos saddle has settled quite a lot in 6 weeks. He said use a thin cloth RI says use a saddle shaped numnah but go for wither shaped one i am lost. Poly pads do look lovely they are now on the list too.

do you still have the same contact though? ive been looking at them for ages but other thicker saddlecloths ive had make it really hard to get a decent leg contact if you know what i mean! x

No, I havent noticed any difference. Just the fact that its really comfy for some strange reason!

I've got two polypads - a saddlecloth and a numnah shaped one. I love them. They never slip and they have lasted for years - seriously I've had them since Sancy was about 5 so thats 11 years now - and they still look like new when washed.

Well mine slipped yesterday!! And I was hanging off the side sort of but still both feet in the stirrups!! Amazing. Then again, you could blame that on the girth not being tight enough but I did check it before I started cantering and then he ran away!
