WOW!!!

I took Chompy to Riding Club this week for the 1st time (having practiced loading into the trailer all week) for a show jumping evening. We entered the nursery novice class 2' - 2'4" (so only tiddlers) and we won, we were by no means the quickest but we were the only ones to get a double clear!

It was also our 1st ever rosette and I can't believe it is a red one. I am not sure though if it the best way to start out in a new club though by walking in and winning, but I just can't stop smiling.

well done my first rosette for river was 3rd sounds good
but there was only 3 in the class

Well Done to you and Chompy! I've never been interesting in competitive riding, but I can imagine how great it must feel.

Congratulations! I think thats a great way to start off! Was that your first show ever or just first for the RC?

I'm still waiting to do mine and Ferns first show! Would be highly unbelievable if we got a 1st rosette lol

It was the 1st show I have ever done with Chompy, and the first with the RC

That is brilliant, i am so pleased for you. I know how hard you have worked with Chompy so this is a fantastic achievement. That's the way to do it, 1st in your 1st show!! Its really nice too as you've had a fair few disappointments recently.
