Gas is so dangerous- if it was newly discovered and they did a risk assessment of it- do you think they'd let it be used for domestic use?

Blummin eck! Hope their burns will be properly managed - they are intensely painful. Sod the house, but I expect it is rather shocking to have all your possessions blown to smithereens. Poor them.
