We cleared a path in the woods of overhanging branches yesteray so we have a track to canter through. Cue me and Pete bombing through the woods today getting very excited I love it sooo much hope my 'honeymoon' period never ends. As always he was a good boy with brakes except on the steep downward bits where he wanted to trot yikes i managed to pop him over the tyre jump though which he cleared by about a foot! I love that horse.

Very jealous of your hacking solomon!!! ;D When I tried out a pony last year I cantered up a track and got hit in the face with a wet branch! Hope you managed to dodge them ;D
I had a nice ride yesterday too - we went in the field, it was a bit soft but I had some exercises printed out to do and we worked on our flatwork. He was quite lazy, which I like (most of the time hes nice and steady - sometimes he takes notions to speed up for no reason at all and then he goes back to going slow again!) Was feeling brave enough to do a jump but dad said it was too soft and would dig the field up.
