...I'm going to the National Stud at Newmarket!!
Think finefilly(?) said she went a little while ago!
Only found out this morning as some of you might remember I had last week off college looking after my 2yo brother while mum was in hospital so I didn't even know! So glad I found out today as otherwise I would have turned up at college tomorrow in all my riding gear as Thurs is normally our riding day! lol
Sooo excited I have no other info about it so not sure if its the exact same place as where finefilly went...But I will have camera at the ready at all times!
Woohoo!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Well I went, it rained all day but it was great! Was a massive place! didn't manage to get many pics as weather was s#it and was too busy oogling the horses lol
There was loads of stallions(obviously) but these were my favourites!
Beautiful stallion, "C o c kney Rebel". Son of Val Royal. Totally gorgeous!
Fee £10,000
Another gorgeous stallion "Pastoral Pursuits" retired to stud in 06
Fee £4,500
Pastoral Pursuits going in to the breeding barn to meet his 'appointment'! Managed to get him mid-kick lol
(he was trotting back out again after about 30 seconds lol)
Inside said breeding barn!
Grand National winner 2004. "Amberleigh House" A gelding and retired. Beautiful nature!
Amberleigh House again
Random--little bit of tack room
Random--Stud bridles. Mainly all straight bar snaffles
Random--Feed room!
Some of the mare and foal stable block
Cant really remember names of foals and who sires were...But I'l just put them up anyway!
This is a foster mum and foal!
Foal statue! (did see Mill Reef's but was pissing down so couldn't get camera out!)
Not sure why minature shetlands were at The national TB Stud farm...But hey, they were cute!
KYOOT! lol
OK, I'm done now!
