I need one for Harry to use on his roller - he is 46" in normal girths - what size dressage woudl he roughly need do you reckon?

I thought it was 20" shorter than their 'normal' girth, but I'm new to the whole dressage girth thing so I could be wrong!

well I got a cheapish one but it was 24" so may be a bit of a squeeze but he'll manage! Will tell you if your theory is right spotti when it arrives!!!

Hmm...I think the 20" shorter theory works generally, but I guess it would also depend on the length of the girth straps...

A 20" will fit bern, just. 22"-24" are a nice fit though and he is very round

I know this thread has taken on a life of its own BUT I just wanted to say I had never heard of the 20 inch less rule AND it does work. I got my dressage girth and though- hey that will never fit but it did- and it was about 20 inches less than my other girth. Good one Spotti-

Bern has a 20" dressage girth? Zoon has a 32" dressage girth - does that make him a freak?!
