On sunday me and sam did a practice dressage test. This made me realise that sam is not at all straight! and he does come from a trot to a halt. So yest me and mossh were trying to improve that. Had some poles out for us to practice the straightness as walked by the side of them and he was loads better! We then tried to work on halting from a trot which took ages to do as he diesnt listen straight away and then creeps before stopping. We did this a few times, we even then attempted walk to canter! This really woke him up and instead of booting him (so to speak) to get him to move i only had to squeezE! we did those quite well suprisingly! being he is usually very lazy. we tried halting from canter which he came back into trot and then pretty much stopped dead. Which was very good for him! So yeah was very good day even for mosh later when she got on her mattie bum and did there first canter pole (only one ) Which he lept over to start but he was very good. Bless them both Sorry for essay

mattie has decided poles aren't quite as scary now He thinks there quie fun to stand on and fall over and nearly land flat on his face. Learning to jump in 3 weeks.... !

Transition work is fab, the more you do with sam the more responsive he will get, worked wonders for bern Sounds like you are both having a whale of a time
