Hi everyone still floating on air 'cos i have bought my ponio. I love him, but the thing is i have booked a saddlery fitting and need your advice [again] about what to look for. Thanks in advance.

How do you know that it's a good fit for the rider, i have ridden in a rubbish saddle for so long now don't know what a decent one will feel like!

Just take your saddlers advice - thats what we do! ;D I think the seat size should be big enough for your bottom so you can fit most of your hand in front and behind you when youre sitting in it. Good luck

find something that feels comfy and secure, and fits the ponio well! shouldnt move or rock too much, and shouldnt be any pressure points but saddler should sort that for you!
Try plenty before you buy and do everything you'll be doing in it- jumping and galloping for example, if not you might find it slips in certain situations and so on. good luck! x
