My pony Canters!

Mattie cantered today for the first time in over 6 months!
Its not a massive thing for some people, but for me and him, this is the equivalent of jumping to the moon and back!
I've had some confidence issues during the transition to canter, which affected him, then which affected me etc etc.
But he was fab, nice transition in, nice bouncy canter and nice transition down, was so so pleased with him.
He covers a 30 metre circle in bout 10 strides....one big stridin horse and he's got power!!! in trot he launches you about 8 foot in the air.
And a big help from Rainbow who dragged me to the field, told me to shut up and get on with it.
In the last 3 days hes gone from my possible eventer, to my sowjumper to my dressage pony.
But i am so proud of him and myself.

yes mattie is doin so well now! and u knew u had to do it at some point i just pushed u slighty you and him are both doing really well and are finally coming together really nicely! yes lots of choccy and karma for u
