I think I've gone into overdrive with the supplements!
I make my own mix from raw ingredients so add a vitamin and mineral supplement as he won't be getting all he requires from that mix and grass/hay as both are poor down here.
I also feed him garlic for his circulatory system and to make his feed more palatable - he is very fussy, but loves the taste of garlic.
And now I'm just ordering a joint supplement as although all the tests he had didn't reveal the cause of his back problem, it did show some mild arthritic changes in some joints.
Zoon diet is soon to consist mainly of powder - am I mad?

I keep an "AJ diary" of events and costs and last year i spent £400 on supplements! I am seriously looking at what he really needs and what I think he needs. I have stopped the "Blue Chip Karma" without any negative problems and his vit supp as he really does not need this with the diet he has. i am keeping the joint formula and the Devils'Claw. I think we can all "oer supplement" our beasties! Zx

if you slowly cut them out one by one you will notice if he actually needs them. you can see bern is stiff withing days of missing his joint sup so that is stayin put

I am now using the naf general supplement on top of chaff (as my boys are such good doers but harry eats poo if I cut out all food). been really impressed with it actually....both are really shiny and well looking. It was only cheap...£7 and its lasted me ages. TBH its easy to go oevr the top with suplements - if you look at the ingredients they often have the same stuff in it!
