We got 4th ;D ;D
the 1st test (prelim 4) went really well, we lost marks on my lack of accuracy but we got 63.18% and came 4th.
I did think I was nuts when the snow came on when we were halfway there but decided to carry on as did just about everybody else so about 10 of the 15 or so entries turned up.
Brave was much more chilled out for the second test (prelim 10), but for some reason and am not sure why is we just kept breaking and falling out of canter, so scored 3-5 for our canter work, then we managed to get lost and had to stop... to find out what I was supposed to be doing next as H got lost too even reading the test. But our trot work was pretty consistently getting 7's so we still managed a very respectable 56.3%
The competition was fierce in the 2nd class, as it was another qualifier and unless their jackets were exaggerating there were three members of the under 21 scotland dressage squad riding in the same class.
So at the end of the day I am dead chuffed!
