I think I've been put up a group in my riding lesson Last week got a call asked if I could go at 6.30 instead of 7 which is the class where they do scary things.
It was so much fun. We did some jumping which I hadn't done any of in agggeeeeees. (Fires had a bit of stiffness in his back and the psyio said no jumpin for the time being). Then the instructor put it up to about 2ft 3" spread (which is scary for me) and she said "Everyone happy with that". The lady in front of me said "not really but I'll give it a go anyway". Which I thought was a good positive attitude and thought I'd have a go to. Geronamo jumped it sooooooo well (he is such a crackin little horse) I really enjoyed it and I think it may have lit a little fire for me.
So my new found attitude is...Its only a jump and its a staionary thing, therefore it can't hurt you. So don't be a wimp and give it a go. Hopefully it'll work ;D can't wait till I'm aloud to start jumping Fire again ;D Although he's got more attitude and opinions than Geronamo. hee hee
She booked me in for the same time next week too! I'm sooo pleased I'd been feeling really flat with my riding. I've only been hacking Fire steady for month or so and haven't been able to go very far because everyones been shooting or the ground has been hard/ or incrediable muddy. I was gonna stop having lessons cause I felt I wasn't learning so much in them and the weather was bad. In winter I always think maybe I'll give up riding and do something safe/not so bitterly cold. This has got me going again though
Roll on Spring!
