The sun is out, the sky is blue- where am i but sat inside on this forum- is it me or is it seriously addictive- I have Housework Computer work Horse work Gardening shopping
all to do- and Im chatting! My husband went to bed at 9.30pm last night after all he got was grunts as replies to every question. My little lad comes up to me and closes the lap top!
Even the dog tries to get my attention by licking my feet!
(which is very nice by the way!)
I need my life back (what on earth did I do before?)
Anyone else experiencing similar problems? Brig

Yea its getting a bit that way, hence I too am here, but I have cleaned the house this morning and I'm off to take my mum out for lunch soon. I was still on here at 11.30pm yesterday and my husband had been asleep on the settee for 2 hours at least. OH keeps saying "Your not on that computer again" "What are you looking at now?" Think he must think I'm on a dating site....................................Mmmmmmmm Bet they're adictive too. *toddles off to find out*

my geegee has to come in at 3.30, after going out at 8.30... would like her out longer, but our barn would lose turnout if we protested.

Maximum: quick question, are you happy with Freelanders towing capacity? I'm changing jeep and just wondered. Brigadier, I agree, its very addictive but because so many interesting threads and such great people. Sometimes its hard to keep up with everything especially if you don't get a chance to log on for a day or two.

Freelanders towing cpacity is 2000kg. the ifor williams I use is 1000kg and max is about 520kg so am well under it even if I give any one else a lift it will be ok as he is the heaviest one.!!! I think if I was doing a lot of towing I would want something like the shogun I have but i only tow about once a month so I think it will be ok. I seriously had reservations but having spoken to the land rover man who sells tham and one who fixes them and they were saying ok go for it!

Thanks Maximum, I hadn't actually considered one before (as I had always thought them a bit lightweight) but will now. Its very hard to get a good jeep which is affordable.

Freelanders are ok with a big diesel engine, its apparently the petrol ones which blow before their time after towing.

I'm also looking at changing car at the moment and have just discovered the new model (this year 08 plate only) Grand Vitara, they have uped the spek and towing weight so the long wheel base (5 door) version can two 2 tonnes and it is about £16,000 new opposed to £26,000. I have short wheel base old style at the moment and it is grand for towing 1 horse but not 2. Reliability also great on the suzuki.
The new model GV is also getting rave reviews from caravan club and other car type places.
Its food for thought
