My hands have been so frozen the past few days. I'm finding magic stretch ones aren't warm enough. yesterday my hands were frozen before I even got on board, I had to lead him home and get a pair of thick thinsulate ones. There so thick though, I don't have any feeling in them.
I'm looking for a pair that I can open the gate and tack up in, that won't absorb moisture/frost from the gate. That'll keep me hands warm, and not too bulky ;D not that I'm fusst or anything. I have a pair of moutain horse but these are really thick and I find they make my hands cold when riding...any suggestions welcomed ;D
I'm glad a I don't live in a properly cold place ;D brrrrr

I bought some fleece gloves with a plasticy/neoprane typve palm and partial fingers from the Aerborn sale (£1 a pair!), they are great and much thicker than magic gloves but still okay to ride/work with but I can't help with where to get them from...sorry a pointless post/answer really I guess.

I am a big sealskinz fan but I actually prefer the ultra grip glove to the specific riding glove. The riding glove is very warm but the ultra grip is warm as well and so close fitting that you can open locks and stuff plus your reins never slip no matter how wet it is and you can put your hand in water. Also they don't feel too hot in summer. Just make sure your sizing is right as they have big sizing and I find that a glove that is too big is useless. (Which might be why I didn't like the riding gloves as much as the ultra grip)

Mine are Good Hands ones...very warm, fleecy inside, made from leathery stuff with extra reinforced bits where the reins go AND they weren't toooooo expensive (£13 ish in Robinsons).
Never going back to plain old gloves again! I love these ones. And the best bit about them? You can do everything in them and still be warm!!!!!
