Hey brig, hope all goes well with the treatment. I think you are doing the right thing my horse is still sensitive on his shoulder after having the same treatment at home for an ugly ulcerated sarcoid. He hated the vet who did the treatment for ages after, he would try and hide in a corner of his stable whenever she came after that. Luckily he didn't appear to hate me much after but it's a stressful time.

Thanks for all your kind support- your tales are making me glad I have chosen to send him away. I think I can then bury my head in the sand for the next ten days, not think about it and hopefully when I pick him up he'll be so glad to get home he will forget it all!
