Just wonderin what you did for your last ride of 2008. Y'day I took Fire out and he saw some deer (I think he's decided thier hairy pigs) and got the wind up him and was pretty naughty afterwards.
So Today about 3.15 I took him out for a nice bareback stroll to reflect on 2008, was really nice and crispy. He behaved really well. Then I jumped off and led him the last bit home. I wasn't gonna ride today but I didn't want our last ride of 2008 to be him behaving badly. ;D

What a clever thought! I will try and make my first ride of 2009 as successful

think i went down the road on my last ride of 2008, somthing he's never done before till the last two weeks. been back riding round the field so far in 2009, untill the mad one came round today and she rode him in the feild and then down the road, were we swapped and i rode him back. i still can't believe how good he's going at the moment, never thought stableing and more pasture mix would make a horse calmer, but it is with fox. just hoping he carries on like this through to the summer.
