As a lot of you know Mils my horse had to go on loan due to us loosing not only house and job but grazing/stabling! Chellebean took Mils on for me in sept but can no longer keep her I need someone else who thinks Mils might be the girly for them to look after her for me! I really don't want to move her around but as it's only been 3 months and Hubby isn't in any fixed permament work yet I just cannot afford to keep her in livery just yet! She is a nice big girl with a willing nature and in the right hands will do everything you ask! So if you could help I would be eternally grateful Txxx

I have a friend of a friend interested, hopefully speak to her today! I just feel guilty! After having her since a 6 month old foal and teaching her everything for the last 8 1/2yrs I'm all she knows! What if this one don't work out? I can't keep moving her about it's not fair on her! If I could find somewhere here to keep her I would, even if she played a field ornament for a while till we are back on our feet!..........Grrrrr as they say 'Life is a B***H!!'. Txx

fff where abouts are you based (what county?)
Just thought if we had a rough idea where you are someone may be able to help out with finding Mils a new home. I would love another but wouldn't realistically have time and seriously it would have to be two more with the seperation anxiety my two have so as two could ride and two stay home.

I'm in West Sussex Haffy. I can't believe life is soooo cruel, loosing the job would have been one thing but the house as well.......grrrr! I miss Mils soooo much! Even if someone could hold on to her for a few months just until I get to know the area enough to be able to suss out a field in that time! What's worse is 15ft from our french windows we have a field full of coloured cobs, which I was a bit like 'OOO I might have to meet the owners' until I found out they are the local Pikeys who have a hell of a reputation for being a bit 'nasty' so thought better of it! Tx

Thanks cazza lol Think spain might be a bit far for a visit lol. Unfortunatley Sussex is very expensive for livery. I could get somewhere grass livery only for £20/30 p/w but I would have to Move Magic with her too (at the moment I have a friend who has a stable and a 1/2acre paddock that Magic is at and I pay nothing) but when you double livery prices here and being that Ivan isn't earning a very good wage atm (just enough to be able to survive with 5 kids) I just cannot afford it! My horses have always wanted for nothing and being in this predicament is heartbreaking. I WON'T sell or rehome Mils as I owe it to her to keep her forever lol well that's my way of thinking! Txx

I have recreated my account because I would like to add something to this thread as I am feeling like a serious bad guy! I am having to give up Milly due to financial reasons! Due to a changes in my semester timetable at uni in Jan, has resulted in a change in hours at work!! As a general result, the bosses have used it as a great excuse to reduce my hours and therefore my pay! I feel bad for only having Mils for a short period of time and if I could foresee this problem I wouldn't have offered to have her in the first place!! Just like to add she is a lovely girly tho and has come on so far since being with us

Can I butt in? ;D Mils is on my yard at the mo, and she is a lovely horse and coming on well. Unfortunately I'm restrained by "Estate" rules which enforce all horses to be brought in over night until April. Once April is here she can be turned out and kept at grass livery for a nominal fee ;D (at the moment she is DIY livery, with back scratching) Are you two able to come to some financial agreement between the both of you? Don't panic she won't be abandoned on a road somewhere It would seem a shame for her to move again when a little bit of time and help could cure all ;D ;D

Chelle you numpty!! You have done nothing to make you look a bad guy! Sorry if I have made you feel like this, I certainly havent posted anything to suggest so! I have nothing but complete respect for you! You have helped me out hugely already with taking her on and I know how much you like her! I know how much keeping a horse costs, that's why I went into panic, after all she is a big animal lol...........please don't feel bad we may be able to work something else out yet! Have faith!! (((((((hugs)))))))) Txx
