a chest pad? Harry has a large chest and the bone in the centre is quite pronounced on him - he is a bit touchy about it, and this winter I realise why. Its right where the buckles of his rug sit and I think its getting sore, not rubbed but bruised - is there anything I can use to help? I nearly fashioned something out of his sheepskin numnah but cant work out how I would keep it there - Id rather not use a full chest lycra thing if poss as his withers get hot and itchy, but if theres nothing else I thought about getting one of them and stitching soem padding in.....

Zoon has the opposite problem and has gelding boobies!
So here's my idea... lipo Zoon and pump it into Harry.
Hey presto - two nice round chests - no boobies and no boney chests!

ha ha!!! that brilliant - god imagine getting a Lb of ming in the post though!!! Thing is harry ahs a really muscly chest - its just the one bone in the middle that seems to stick out....
ordered one of those chest expanders and will stitch padding into it...hopefully that will work. Roll on summer - hate rugs!

Have you paid £12 for it? You could have had mine...bought it for Faith a whille back when her rug seemed too tight (5'9), but now I've bought her a rug that is the next size upo (6'0) and they fit perfectly so no need for the expander! Sorry I didn't get in there sooner...

Funilly enough i was going to suggest one of those.
also you can buy spare rug fastenings so you could make one's to fit each rug

Mine has normal buckles on it - not the clips like some rambo or some other makes have - and fitted Faith's rug fine so I'd imagine it should be ok for Harry.
Unfortunately its at home at the mo and we're at uni, but I could get someone to post it for you if you need it soon-ish?
