After a very long debate with myself and with a very heavy heart I have decided to sell Lu, for the simple reason that P is not progressing with her breaking as I don't have the time since buying Lu back. She is a 15hh, 9 year old skewbald QH x cob mare. Amazing temperment, brilliant with vet and farrier, catch, clip and load. She has a very scoopy jump (jumping over 3'3" with ease), she has never refused a jump without rider error!! Her first time jumping indoors cleared 2'3" - no faults!! She hacks alone or in company and will lead or follow. Lu is never bothered about traffic no matter how heavy or what it is. Lu does need a competent rider though and would love to go to someone who wants to compete, especially show jumping. Lu has been highly schooled and looks amazing when she's working. As you have probably seen from my pics she has shown in coloured classes, done jumpcross, show jumped, hunted last season. I have ridden her in western tack although she is not western trained. I am looking for £2,800 without tack. Please pm me if interested.

Thanks for your lovely comments!! It really is one of the hardest decisions I've had to make - Hopefully a competitive teenager/mother combo will want her. Although I sold her to a teenager last time and the girl got bored and then wondered why she played up slightly when she Lu had been worked for weeks?! I'm aiming to sell her locally so I can keep an eye out at shows etc - don't want her going too far!!

That would be lovely for you, to see her from time to time. I know you see her future competing but she's just the type I'd look for in a long-distance horse (and she IS xQH ;D) nice and sturdy, forward going and brave ... *sigh*, well, I can dream .....
