hiya again! Yeah while I was out hacking the other day I noticed my saddle was creaking a bit...never noticed it before! After we got home I checked it over and did the tree test and it don't seem broken. Just really annoying. Anyone else have same problem? Perhaps it was just where I was sitting different or where Fern was more lively than normal...I dont know lol strange.

If its leather it may need re-flocking!

oh ok thanks. Saddler is coming out soon anyway for a saddle fitting on the youngster...was going to show it to him then to see if it needs adjusting. Cheers!

if its a wintec, check the two screws that hold the gullet in place, and the two you can see in the pommel.
mine was clicking, but found that one of the screws holding the gullet in place had nearly fallen out! x

Is it the sound of the leather creaking or more like the actual framework? leather and synthetic leather will creak if hot.
