Well, my baffling horse is being sent to a neurologist to try and work out whats up with him (see the thread in health section if you are confused) The insurance will cover the referral and MRI scan etc, but will not cover the transport. Since it looks like we will be going to Newmarket for this I need to raise a couple of hundred pounds to pay the lovely little man who transports us whenever we need to go anywhere (generally the vet, who we have seen a lot of recently)
So I've had a rummage to try and find bits I could sell!
if anyone likes the sound of anything then send me a pm with an offer and as long as its not silly (no 1p offers please!) then I'll sell to the highest bidder - sort of like an unofficial ebay! I can get some pics if anyone wants. Here is my list...
Equilibrium close contact turnout chaps in black, size 5. Used once but too big and let mud in under the heel (sort of defeats the purpose!) Now washed and look brand new apart from a B written on both the labels inside as they were for his back legs and this made it quicker when turning out int he morning! You can find the sizing somewhere on here - www.equilibriumproducts.com/leg_protection/equi_chapsreg_close_contact_chaps/
New navy saddlecloth from Decathlon, full size. Got home and decided navy didn't suit my horse. Nice high wither clearance and velcro on girth loops etc make it easier to attach.
Brand new and still in packaging Dublin equistyle breeches in chocolate and blue (dark brown breeches with blue stitching and knee patches) Size 16 I think. Got as a present, but as I am a size 10-12 I was very offended and too shocked to say they didn't fit!
Two Wintec saddles - close contact and dressage. Both black and both 17 1/2 inch with medium gullets (but this can be changed)
5 1/2 inch mullen mouth loose ring happy mouth bit, used but no chew marks at all
5 1/2 inch balding gag with black leather cheeks (its one of these for those if you who don't know what a balding gag looks like - www.shiresequestrian.co.uk/shop/product.php?productid=707&cat=569&page=1) It has normal size rings and already has the leather cheek pieces threaded through the rings, which if anyone has ever had to do that they'll know who hard it is!
2 pairs of full size navy sports medicine boots by weatherbeeta, well used and a bit bobbly but plenty of life left and perfect for schooling
A pair of black fetlock boots, full size - these are the sort that wrap around the fetlock if that makes any sense, will take a look later what brand they are.
English hackamore, cob/full size in black
black cob size bridle with flash noseband (but I've lost the flash strap!) used once or twice. Quite cheap leather but would come up nice with a bit of elbow grease
Full size hunting breastplate in black. Well used and has a scuff on girth loop, but well looked after apart from this and still plenty of life left in it
a few spare pairs of reins - all black but some rubber covered and some plain.
Wintec stirrup "leathers" - black 54" - won't mark your synthetic saddle like leather stirrup leathers can do.
28" humane dressage girth in black, not quite long enough so pretty much unused
Jeffries full size 5-point breastplate - www.ejeffries.co.uk/Bridlework/BPCOMP.html
I love this, but unfortunately love my horse more so it may have to go!
6'3 navy Zing lightweight stable rug
German hackamore with big fuzzy sheepskin noseband and curb chain.
White sheepskin pad - like Bartl pad but think its a different brand; will have to look!
Think thats about it, may have to add some more later!
Also just found -
Navy BSJA saddle cover with massive BSJA logo on side - won in competition but never used.
4'6 or 4'9 fluorescent yellow waterproof exercise sheet - not sure of size but fits my lad who wears a 6'6 rug
White aerborn dressage numnah - slim cotton numnah fits perfectly under a 16 -18 inch dressage saddle
