Hiya! As title says really! I would like a fly fringe...not a hood, mesh thing, face mask, or whatever they are called! But just a fly fringe with the tassles! ;D Needs to be a big size (for Fern) and preferably a girly colour! though not that important! Also one that don't need a headcollar! Thanks very much! Theres a couple on ebay I am watching but please still let me know if you have anything! Thanks again!

You will be better with a full face mask Aimee...they don't work and ones that don't require a headcollor won't stay on long I'd imagine.

Oh dear. I tried one with Fern the other day and she wouldn't let me go near her with it, she really freaked out so bad that she actually scared me a little bit! lol so I just figured that a fringe would be less 'scary' but still do the job as her forelock is too short to cover her eyes. Oh I dont now what to do now

They do get used to them, honest! ;D Look comical, but at least they work, and stay on!!!

Well they do unless your pony is named Harry for a very good reason....to be fair it stays on most days...he just then pretends he's a hafficorn !

Not keen on nylon/synthetic fringes - they get caught in things, don't break ... and the horse freaks out and hurts itself. You can get leather fringes (like Spanish horses often have) but they need a headcollar. But the masks are the best. The neddies do get used to them and at least if they get caught on something the velcro just rips open.

i gave up onn full masks my horses rip them to shreds in a day so i use fringes but i soak them in citrenella so they do work my beasts keep them on and they are not so expensive to replace if they do get lost or broken

Well I have given up on everything! Jaffa had the mask on and the other day when I went to yard he had managed to roll it up by his ears like a headband and had scratched his cheek in the process! God...don't they know we are only trying to help! Finally got a cheapy fringe the other day (velcro) and guess what...it dont fit around her abrormally huge ears! Might re-build it with some hay string...but until then I'm just gonna stick to some fly gel round her face for now!
Thanks again for help guys!
