If anyone can get to the bottom of it it's the guys a the AHT. My friend's horse would have really agressive bucking fits. She was convinced that it was pain related but Liphook did tests and found nothing. She was persistent and got a referal to AHT. They kept him there for 3 days and found nothing. When she went to pick him up they said there was a slight possibility that one last test could show something if she'd hang on a bit longer before taking him home. Sure enough it did. He had the beginnings of spavin in his hock but it was very near to a nerve so even though it was minute it was causing him a lot of pain. Best of luck with your visit.

If he has been checked by a good practionioner and theres nothing wrong, do you not think he might just be taking the p**s a bit. He might have picked up on your reaction on him having problems when they seen to his back and i know it sounds a bit funny but maybe he really is just pulling your leg. Keep us posted though coz it would be interesting to see if the place finds anything. At least you have taken the time to try and sort it out a lot of people i know would have sent him to the meat man by now x
