ugh the ticks in the new field are quite bad and this combined with losing his coat has left him with a real scabby face ugh gave him a real good groom today there is still sooooo much coat coming out and loads left I am sick of being covered in hair. some pics from today- using cheapie camera so not great. scabby face!! and a lovely random cloud picture he was a very sweaty boy after being ridden tonight, was still 20 degrees at 7 0'clock. he was not very good. methinks that heat + schooling rather than hack+it being tea time= crappy session.

Emir has come out in loads of lumps down his neck and he also gets a snotty nose at this time of the year. i love the spring and the start of decent weather but it also brings out all the pesky flies

It's been really muggy here & the midges are horrendous, evil little sh**tes that they are Warrior looks like a moth eaten thing at the moment as he sheds his winter coat. The cloud picture is rather 'arty'

Metal curry comb on any non boney areas is great for getting off excess hair.

Faith's actually looking quite smart, even though she too is losing tonnes of hair (note to self: take picture of Faith looking glossy and trim)

I keep finding horse shaped patches of "snow" in the field, from Dexter rolling and shedding his white hair as he went unclipped and un rugged all winter. Chompy pretty much has his summer coat and the only bit he is still really shedding from is his bum
