I've got an Aerborn forester turnout rug which is surplous to requirements as i bought Harry some new rugs the other week. 6ft, it's somewhere between a medium/heavy weight with 360g of filling and a tough outer (not sure of denier). The lining is 100% cotton and is in the form of a tartan blanket and has proved very robust as Harry hasn't burst it at the seams ;D Externally it is in very good condition and fully waterproof, with no rips just a pull on one side. It is missing one of the quick release trigger clips on breast but It can easily be replaced and I have just used the buckle instead as never got round to replacing (OH lost it as couldn't figure it out one night!). It has been used lightly for one winter...mainly during colder days....but has not been cleaned as I have never had one yet that hasn't leaked afterwards. Looking for around £25 plus postage I also have a brand new (well worn once for a couple of hours) Saxon middleweight rug. Basically bought it for Harry forgetting they are like mini skirts on anything heavier than an arab/TB type. Cost £40 from throstlenest so would like money back on that really plus postage, which makes it expensive so I will probably keep it as a spare for emergancys.
