rode princesss out in the field fresh from the grass and standing in stable for a while.
Was good to mount etc and was more forward going was would be expected. Only did like 35 mins of work.
Did some general schooling in walk trot and canter, was quite fast in trot and had to keep holding her back tried letting the reins go a bit slack to see would she settle but she just got faster and faster and had to quickly pull back before she started to canter.
There is slight slopes in my field but overall it is pretty flat - (it is a rare thing to find a flat field in this county!) so she was running down them which was a bit scary ad it was quite bouncy and thought i was gonna get run away with - no balance at all she just runs everywhere (although if you would be watching it she looks quite slow - its just what i feel when im up there)
Then there was a cow watching her in the next field and we were trotting away from it and she spooked and shot off but luckily she came back to walk for me good thing was that i recovered from it pretty quickly!
Then went to the other end of the field and had a few canters- was nice and steady and not very strong at all - quite easy to bring back to trot although whenever she come back to trot she will 'run' instead of trotting properly and steadily. She was better going round to the left and to the right she was more motorbikey and kept trying to cut across with no bend. But was quite surprised actually that she went so well.
