Rain rain rain here. Today werent too bad just bloody freezing! I dread to think what Jan's going to be like too . I actually can't believe how quick its happened, if I was to show you a pic of Fern literally just last week, and then one from today you would not believe how much her fur has grown and how much weight she has lost in just one week. Its scary. Time for the round bales and morning feeds already!

For us its just been cold cold cold and more cold. Its dead wierd though because now the clocks have gone back its light in a morning and pitch black at night! I'd much prefer it the other way round, that way we can actually get something done before it goes dark. Still ,I shouldn't complain because before we know it it will be dark in the morning and dark in the evening and generally rather dark all day!

It's been cold all day, but the sun showed it's face a couple of times. But as soon as I finished work and headed to the yard, the heavens opened! Dark, wet and cold.... Berk winter lol

Yeah its absolutely freezing! Princess is having to live out with the tiny ponies because there is no stables left at the RS. She has her body clipped except for her top half of head and her legs and she has two rugs on - we put a cosy neck cover on this evening after the lesson so at least she will be nice and warm.
All I can say is thank god my RS has an indoor!! I feel sorry for the peeps that go to a RS with no indoor and having to ride in all weathers. I have made a mental note to get a waterproof exercise sheet and some waterproof overtrousers for when I get a new horse/pony!! Then we will both be nice and cosy and dry!
Funny enough, ive been feeling a bit christmassy too!

rain rain rain rain rain wind wind wind SUN ;D
Good day today althought freezing.
Urgh winter with horses can be really magic if you have the right facillities - which we don't! Can't wait till we move.
Would love to ride in snow, I heard you have to put vaseline on horses feet first though

It's peeing down here but I got in a hack this am and was really quite toasty. Had to take my jacket off. The GGs are out as it's warm still, but they might come in tonight. Might even get our first frost soon.
