i want a "posh" name for my geegee, and cant decide to go for noturno florir which is portuguese for night time blossom, sunnyside blossom which is where i live followed by blossoms name or nighttime blossom which is nighttime coz shes black and her name. what do you guys think? ? there is always my original idea - short fat and hairy!!! (which is apparently gordas e peludas curto in portuguese - not horrible at all!!!)

Any particular reason you're going for a portuguese name?
How about Midnight Bloom?
Or Mezzanotte Fiore? (Italian for midnight flower/blossom)

Inspired by your search for a 'posh name' for Bloss, I've looked up what I'd love to call Faith...it would be "pouco malandro" - meaning "little rascal" in portugese.
I quite like the name Midnight Bloom too...I think you should go with that one. She'll sound dead posh!

I like the midnight one too. With all this posh naming going on its making me think 'Clara' is a little boring for Fern...might have to jazz it up a bit too!

florence LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!! seriously??? Yeah, feeling really fat and frumpy, arthritis making me limp, moods all over the place and it all gives me the hump. Can't get the horse fighting report out of my mind and so on. Sorry, not really for this post. I will cheer up when my mood swings round again! Let us know when you've decided on a name.
