do i never have the camera when the horses do random things. Dainty decided today that she didn't want to be groomed so she picked up her curry comb and deposited in the water bucket . what a kind thing to do. the look on her face after was priceless sorta like "how did that get in there oh whoops you can't groom me with that" cue lots of giggling from me abd funny looks from savvy when i picked myself off the floor

In the mornings when we are turning out Cider picks his head collar up of off the stable door and swings it at me to say "time to go slow coach" its rude really but he does it very gently and it makes me laugh every day.

All Fern does is manage to break into the tackroom and has now accumulated the talent of lifting bin lids off! Bless her (not!)

I knew a horse at my old yard who after finishing his feed would pick up his bucket at deposit it in front of his stable door when he heard someone coming, as if to say more please.

The farrier was busy with Dems when I arrived at the yard yesterday so I watched her having her new shoes put on. She looked at me out of the corner of her eyre, checking I was actually watching and then nipped his bum! Then she lokked at me all inocent and surprised like, and the guy was mad because she had NEVER done that before.

Know what you mean savkins. Some weeks ago, my daughter decided NOT to hunt as she was going on holiday the next day and was afraid of hurting herself and being unable to ski, so she decided just to HELP me instead. This is how the day went (keeping herself safe) 1 She was bending down near the stable door when lolly, who was in the stable threw the door open with her nose almost knocking my daughter out and leaving a big lump on her head. 2 We got to the hunt and she held an excited Poppy for me to get on and poppy tried to gallop off, with me halfway on and my daughter hanging on, I fell and my daughter got pulled over and twisted her ankle. ALL THIS AND SHE NEVER EVEN GOT ON A HORSE. LOL

I was getting my daughter's horse ready for her, and he got his bit stuck in the door of his box(how he could do that I have not a clue!), and slammed the door shut. I was just in the way to stop it banging too loudly... Woke up with an ambulance guy prodding me delicately... Nothg broken but phew!

now it's warmer i have been leaving my horses out over night and one morning i got up open the window and look out to see if the horses were OK (which they were) but i can't see digit for looking so that was it i ran out the house (in pj's) to take a closer look! and digit bless him not, was in the middle of the banked hedge( the bank is that big you could park a car in it) looking at me as if there was nothing to worry about(but he wasn't meant to be there). so then i thought I'd get some nut's and shake them and when he would come out, but o no not digit he just stood there as if to say "what me you want me but no i am not moving" by this time i thought nop thats not going to work, i had to walk over in my pj's try and get him (which i did) for a hour later he did it again! but there is electric wire fencing and it's on the mains too (really hurts to touch, i tried it)and he still goes though it, so i have given up now, he now goes in and out as he pleases silly horsey
