Hi Suzii, I'm a sad freak who likes algebra I think the answers are: 1. x= (y+w)/(3-V) 2. x=(2/((v+w) 3. x=13v/(5w-8) If you want the workings PM me your email address and I'll pop it on a spreadsheet for you.

maths is for numbers, english is for letters and the two should never mix!

If kitkat hadn't already helped, I would have done because I was quite good at maths at GCSE (give me A level maths and it all just goes straight over my head, but GCSE stuff was a doddle in comparison) so if you want help, feel free to ask and I'll fo my bestest!

omg - i did this a few weeks ago! lemme get out my book!!.......... well, even thought kitcat has worked it out, i think - i wouldnt know since im no good at maths really but im gonna try for the craic!! Did this for h/w on 15th september - cept, mine looks easier??!! ok, gonna try it anyway... ok, i havent a clue but to give an example of mine, we had some questions: btw dunno how to do the squared symbol x(squared) + 7x + 6 = 0 answer: x(sq) + 7x + 6 = 0 (x+6) (x+1) x+6=0 x+1=0 -6 -1 x= -6 x= -1 then we had to make the subject a particular letter: / is division sign 2a + 3b = c (make subject a) 2a + 3b = c - 3b -3b 2a = c - 3b / 2 / 2 a = c - 3b / 2 hard to understand written on comp
