i cant ride my nedd till 8th august and its killing me. I am riding some other horses at the yard for ppl but its not the same. im riding 1 horse in a show on sunday but i wont care if i come anywhere or not because its not loui and if it was id be wanting to get placed. aaaaarrrrrggggghhhhhh i wanna ride her

i know how you feel when mash had grass sickness i was riding my sisters horse but i wanted to be on mash sooooooooooo much that i lost my competative attitude

Completely understand where you're coming from - I've not ridden another horse since Faith came out of work (except backing Blue, but that was different because all I did was sit on her). I've had offers, and could have gone to a riding school or somewhere, just to get my riding 'fix' but its not the same if its not on her.

Exactly! I think I will ride other horses when or if Dems retires entirely. Until then, there doesn't seem to be much point, unless I am helping someone by taking their horse out when they can't do it, but then I'm riding their horse as well as Dems, not instead of-.

I quite like riding other horses but I agree, its not the same. So far none have been near as nice as my own which is good really. Come to think of it, haven't done it much lately but I do find it kind of fascination to see how they go. Would love to have a ride on a dressage school master!

i found it hard to ride other horses when savvy was around especially when we were jumping i just got a look that said "mother that is my job! Get off her and ride me". I have ridden other horses that i liked but i never got the same feeling when i ride her.

i didnt mind riiding others when i could ride mash it was only when i couldnt ride her at all that i didnt like it i guess i liked to know i had the option
