I've never ate anything gross as I'm far too picky but my very good friend ate a slug once many years back too. After a night out we were on our way home and they had a takeaway (again I'm too fussy/a veggie so didn't) then we were invited to someones party so J had a wonderful idea (typical man idea if you ask me) to stick their take away under a hedge (I know, don't ask!!) till later. A couple of hours later we came out, they found the takeaway and set of back to my friends again. She decided to try some of it cold and ate a mouthful including what she thought was a largish mushroom....yep when we got back it was crawling in slugs.

Apart from frogs' legs and snails (yummy) I've also sucked on boiled chicken's feet and some innards that I didn't look too closely at. Dog and cat too, I think. Snake is nice. Was trying to work up the courage to try a fried locust but couldn't face the way their legs stuck out of the vendor's mouth and just, well, wiggled .....

Oh dear just made the mistake of reading this whilst eating my lunch! *checks salad for any slimy critters that may have squirmed their way in*

i've eaten snake too - tastes a bit like chicken and crocodile - tastes like salty chicken, and a widgety (sp?) grub - that was euughhh!!!
I lived in Fiji for a while as as guest of honour I was given the fish head to eat as a delicacy - you are supposed to eat the eyes lips and cheeks - I swiftly became a vegetarian for the duration of my stay in that village and had to look on drooling while eveyone else tucked into lovely roast pig...

Locust! Years ago I was taken out to a Japanese restaurant (couldn't get out of it without giving offence) had a god awful meal (hate raw fish, fish soup etc) and then came this "thing" on my plate. I asked what it was and gingerly took a bite (yuk!) and only after was told what it was!

I am waaay too fussy to try anything like that...The worst I can think of is I once found greenfly in a salad, but dunno if I actually ate any or not lol.
